The final decision to have an earthy space, filled with reclaimed and vintage pieces, a warm neutral palette, and creative art pieces collected over time settled into view.

Just Like Dorothy in her Ruby Reds this kitchen moved from black and white to color with it's brilliant red Blue Star appliances creating an over the rainbow statement.
The design focused on an eclectic flair.
We mixed in modern lines with a contemporary range hood and matte black fixtures and created a juxtaposition to the vintage subway tile, a classic black and white color scheme, and industrial inspired lighting.

The heart of this home needed a view to the manicured landscape, a dream that had not been achieved in the original homes design.
The renovation focused on bringing the views inside with a customized new window allowing for the light to dance around the new space and reflect off the pond outside.

This renovation focused on the back side of a hundred year old home's original summer kitchen, 1990's bathroom addition, and exterior back vestibule entrance.
By eliminating the interior walls and starting over with the space we were able to re-organize the and functionally layout zoned work areas for a family of six to enter, store, and wash.
Every piece of trim was carefully removed and then replaced into it's new home to preserve the past while creating more practical spaces.
Materials were chosen to be easy clean yet whimsical as we curated our design from past to present.
