Just because you live in the woods doesn't mean you have to have the interior of your home all wood. To brighten up this 1970's oak kitchen the ceiling beams were removed and cabinets replaced with painted maple cabinets by KraftMaid. The floors in all of the lower level common areas were changed to 12x24 tile for durability and easy clean. The 3x6 tile backsplash included a linear highlight of glass tile and the selection of Cambria Harlech Quartz countertops provided a striking appearance.

The shower base is Corian, the wall panels are Durasein Boardwalk 1/2 thick solid surface panels that are routed out to inset a 6'' row of decorative tile.
The triple shower caddy matches the wall panels.
The Kohler Choreagraph grab bar is our favorite since it doesn't look like a grab bar and because the mounting brackets slide to allow positioning at existing studs.
