Cultured marble, otherwise known as cast polymer is in its basic description a mixture of marble dust, pigment for color, and high strength resin that is cast onto a variety of molds to create beautiful, nonporous, easy to clean products that are ideal for bathroom use. Because they are sprayed with a gelcoat finish they never need to be resealed like you would need to do with natural stone.
Cultured granite uses virtually all the same methods used in the production of cultured marble except we replace the marble dust and pigment with a crushed granite blend that creates its own unique granite look.
